Caves da Montanha, based in Anadia, was founded in 1943 by Adriano Henriques and has since passed from parents to children, now in its fourth generation. For many years, over several generations, the goal has always been the same: the quality of their products, as evidenced by the numerous quality awards they have accumulated over the years. Today, Caves da Montanha focuses on producing wines from various regions of Portugal, fortified wines, brandies, and liqueurs, and they have a large production capacity for that. Their long underground tunnels are one of their biggest attractions, with a capacity for 3 million bottles, maintaining a temperature range of 2 °C. (illustrative image only)
