Old wine bottles may show traces of dust and damaged labels, which is normal for their age. The National Cellar is committed to storing all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, but it always chooses to preserve the visual appearance that reflects their age. We select brands/regions that, by convention, display distinct characteristics in vintage wine tastings. However, we want to point out that wine is a living organism that, even when sealed in a bottle, is subject to different evolutions over time. Accordingly, the National Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product’s quality, as it is an old wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine breathe beforehand, which helps release its natural aromas after many years closed. If you decide to decant before serving, be patient to detect the appearance of sediment that an aged wine tends to produce. (illustrative image)
