This El Duende, boasting a shy straw hue, clearly spent some time amongst sun-baked meadows – translating beautifully into a nose of flint and ripe fruit. The palate demands a little patience, offering a persistent finish alongside a delicate toasted bread note, a characteristic of the Alentejo terroir. A truly elegant wine with a distinct personality; I’d pair it wonderfully with a grilled fish and a generous drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.
