Empecinado is a monovarietal wine made from Tinta del País (Tempranillo), the heir of the Vega Real Estate. It is intense, with notes of vanilla, cocoa and smoke, typical of its ageing in French and American oak barrels. It offers a wide palate, very balanced and persistent. Its profile makes it the ideal companion for traditional stews, wood‑roasted meats, Iberian sausages, game meats and aged cheeses.
