This white from Bodegas Aleanna, crafted by Alejandro Vigil – formerly of the legendary Catena Zapata – is a single-varietal Chardonnay grown at an impressive 1,470 metres in the Tupungato region of Mendoza. Fermentation in oak barrels and subsequent aging under a flor (yeast veil) bestow upon it a truly distinctive and alluring character, hinting at the region’s unique terroir.
