This El Garbi, born from the Castellets vineyard in Terra Alta, is a fascinating reflection of the region’s breezy conditions and, of course, the vibrant Grenache Blanc grapes. The meticulous winemaking, with a focus on gentle extraction and ageing in three different-aged French oak barrels, yields a wine with a wonderfully surprising minerality – think preserved lemons and a touch of grapefruit. It’s no surprise that Decanter awarded it a respectable 92/100. Absolutely brilliant paired with grilled fish or a Mediterranean fruit salad.
