This “elephantus algarve” – a wonderfully evocative name, wouldn't you agree? – clearly hails from a small producer deeply rooted in the Algarve’s terroir. It’s a celebration of native grape varieties, showcasing a certain rustic balance reminiscent of the Monte Xarez-Gargalheiras. The intense fruit and subtle mineral notes suggest a wine best paired with grilled fish, a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, and roasted peppers – a combination, I’m sure, the producer would heartily approve of.
