This Encontro Baga, hailing from the Quinta do Encontro – whose architecture, they say, is as harmonious as the wine itself – delivers a truly sensory experience. Aged for 12 months in French oak, it’s a remarkably concentrated wine, showcasing ripe red fruit reminiscent of fresh strawberries. Parker awarded it 89 points, recognising its complexity, with those lovely balsamic and toasted notes.
