Description

This wine is made from Arinto and Fernão Pires grapes, harvested on slopes facing the Castle of Penela. After a traditional transformation process with minimal human intervention, this white wine presents a yellow colour, a mineral profile, and pronounced floral aromas. On the palate it offers a more pronounced, fresh taste with grapefruit notes. In the Encosta da Criveira, with a south‑westerly exposure and a stunning view of the Castle, wines are produced by the people of Terras de Sicó, blending tradition with modern enological techniques while preserving the rich history that surrounds them. These wines come from the Beira Altpontine region, where the soils are predominantly clay and clay‑limestone, giving the raw material an incredible freshness.
