This wine from Herdade de Benzeide feels like it’s sprung straight from the heart of the Alentejo – a seriously impressive Aragoneze. It’s full-bodied, bursting with ripe fruit, and begs to be paired with a hearty lamb dish or perhaps some succulent black pork. The International Wine Competition silver medal confirms what we already suspected: a remarkably well-structured and balanced wine, and a very safe – and delightful – bet.
