This Roupeiro from Esporão is the product of a rather persistent desire to create “good” wines – a legacy inherited from the heart of the Alentejo, specifically in Reguengos de Monsaraz. The estate, spanning a hefty 702 hectares, capitalises on those dramatic temperature swings and incredibly diverse soils, all boosted by the estate’s organic production method. Expect a fresh, aromatic wine showcasing the pure Roupeiro variety, ideally paired with a grilled fish and a squeeze of lemon – a classic combination, really.
