Sweet and fruity. Mia Moscato delivers an inviting sweetness, combining a good, balanced acidity. Fresh, yet with a body that gives structure, length and an attractive flavour. Perfectly clean, straw‑yellow with fine, elegant bubbles. Powerful, intense aroma, with a backdrop of white flowers mingled with peach, ripe apricot and orange blossom. In 1861, in Sant Sadurní d´Anoia, Penedès, the Sala family began a venture of production and export of quality wines. In the early twentieth century, the marriage of Dolores Sala and Pedro Ferrer took place, revolutionising the business by merging Dolores' oenological expertise with Pedro's commercial and innovative acumen. From that union, the brand Freixenet was born, becoming one of the largest producers of Cava; its first bottle under the brand name appeared in 1911. From the production of its first bottle to today, the brand has stayed true to its values, and now, besides producing its own grapes, Freixenet is also supplied by over 2,000 local growers, making it one of the most emblematic Cava sparkling‑wine houses in the world.
