Jean‑François Ganevat is unique; there is no one else in the world quite like him. His wines are precious gems born from the extraordinary care this “vigneron” gives to every step of his vineyards, from vine to liquid gold. More than a biodynamic grower, he is a perfectionist who even assigns a distinctive “élevage” to each of his tiny cuvées—an obsession that would drive most people mad. Though he once worked with Jean‑Marc Morey in Burgundy, Jean‑François makes his wines in the Jura, in an enclave between Burgundy and Switzerland where the various plots that give rise to all his cuvées mirror his terroirs. As a zealous biodynamic, his wines contain only trace amounts of sulfites, or in some cases none at all.
