This wine, christened with the meticulousness of a crochet project, is the brainchild of Sandra Tavares and Susana Esteban – two winemakers who, it seems, decided to join forces and “stitch together” a truly remarkable fermentation. The grapes, hailing from the ancient vines of Quinta do Barão, are remarkably intense and richly coloured, as if painstakingly chosen by these experts. The result is a complex wine, brimming with nuances only the Douro terroir, and the skill of these two winemakers, can deliver.
