Estrada da Corte Branco is produced from the Encruzado, Malvasia Fina, Rabo de Ovelha and Bical varieties, having spent six months in stainless‑steel tanks. It shows a lemony hue and a very aromatic profile with orchard‑fruit notes, and on the palate it is surprisingly fresh and mineral. Quinta do Carvalhão Torto is a family‑owned estate in the Dão region, rooted in a lineage that stretches back generations. Today it is the third generation continuing the grandfather’s business, and they uphold the authenticity of their wines by honouring the wisdom and tradition passed down. With about seven hectares of vines averaging over 40 years, the vineyard is maintained sustainably, in line with integrated pest‑management regulations. (illustrative image)
