Description

The bottles of old wines may show traces of dust and damaged labels, as expected for their age. The National Cellar is committed to storing all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, but always chooses to preserve the visual appearance inherent to their age. We conduct a selection of brands/regions that, normally, reveal distinct characteristics in tastings of aged wines. However, we inform you that wine is a living organism exposed to time, and even while sealed in a bottle, its aromas are subject to different evolutions. Therefore, the National Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product's quality, as it is an aged wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine aerate beforehand, as this will help release its natural aromas after many years closed. If you choose to decant the wine before serving, make sure to do so patiently to detect the appearance of sediment that an old wine tends to produce. (illustrative image)
