This Falua Reserva clearly put the grapes through the wringer – a maceration that’s undeniably left its mark. As the *Revista de Vinhos* noted, the colour is a delightful citrus invitation, and the well-defined acidity is certainly a force to be reckoned with. Hints of quality fruit and a lingering finish suggest a character that belies its apparent elegance. Wonderful with grilled fish, or perhaps a roasted chicken with fragrant herbs.
