Description

Freixo One year before the harvest and winemaking, the grapes of the different varieties that make up the Family Collection were carefully selected and monitored according to the oenological objectives. The grapes were picked at their ideal stage of ripeness in 20 kg crates and vinified separately. The entire process was carried out by gravity into the fermentation vats, and fermentation lasted 20 days with extended maceration, giving this wine its distinctive character of ripe fruit. Aging for 14 months in new French oak gives it a broad aromatic range and remarkable balance that will endure throughout its long life. Bottle maturation lasts for more than 8 months.
