Bottles of aged wines may show dust traces and damaged labels, which is normal given their age. The National Wine Cellar stores all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, yet it chooses to preserve the visual appearance inherent to each bottle’s age. We select brands/regions that, by nature, reveal distinct characteristics when tasting aged wines. However, we note that wine is a living organism that, even in a bottle, is subject to evolving aromas over time. Therefore, the National Wine Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product’s quality, as it is an aged wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and allow the wine to breathe beforehand, which helps release its natural aromas after so many years sealed.
