This “Tubo” from Ferreira Dona Antónia is a delightfully mischievous little wine – a real burst of red fruit that, rather cleverly, seems to have been subtly spiced. The Touriga Nacional provides a graceful structure, while the Pinot Noir injects a vibrant acidity, making it ideal with roasted duck or a classic Bacalhau à Brás. A charming anomaly, certainly, but one with a remarkably memorable character – just like the tube that held it.
