This Ribatejo Chardonnay from Fiuza certainly isn’t playing it safe – it’s throwing a bit of a curveball. The Fíuza Chardonnay has a wonderfully unrefined fruit intensity, alongside a bracing salinity that whispers of the Tejo River. Remarkably refreshing, perhaps a touch rustic, but with an honest, vibrant spirit and would pair beautifully with grilled fish and a squeeze of lemon. A genuinely delightful expression of Portuguese wine.
