This Fojo is a truly remarkable wine, born from a vineyard stubbornly clinging to life since the late 1800s, primarily planted with Touriga Nacional and Touriga Roxo. Critics consistently praise its complex character – think hints of chestnut, a beautifully evolving aroma with black fruit, leather, and a whisper of smoked meat – all beautifully framed by new oak. It’s a full-bodied wine with incredible persistence, and frankly, it deserves to be enjoyed with a hearty roast or a well-aged cheese.
