Garrafeira Nacional ensures all wines are kept at the correct temperature and humidity, yet always preserves the visual characteristics inherent to their age. We typically select regions that perform well in old wine competitions. However, wine is a living organism exposed to time, and even inside a bottle its aromas evolve differently. Therefore, Garrafeira Nacional cannot be held responsible for the quality of the wine, given that it is an aged wine. Our recommendation is to open and let the bottle breathe first, which will help release the wine’s natural aromas after so many years closed.
