According to its age, the wines may show signs of aging such as dust on the bottles and/or some damage to the labels, which is common in wines that have been stored for decades. The National Cellar stores all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, but always keeps the visual appearance appropriate to their age. We usually select brands/regions that normally perform well in old wine tastings. However, wine is a living organism that, like others, is exposed to time, and even within a bottle, aromas can evolve in different ways. Therefore, the National Cellar cannot be held responsible for the quality of the wine, as it is an old wine. Our recommendation is to open and let the bottle breathe first, as this will help release the natural aromas after so many years of closure. Avoid decanting, as it can be too aggressive for old wines. (Image purely illustrative)
