This Framingham Pinot Noir, born in the heart of Marlborough, is a true testament to extraction – it doesn’t shy away from prolonged skin contact, especially in the clay-rich plots, which delivers surprising structure and layers of flavour. Fermented with both wild and cultivated yeasts and reaching a controlled 30°C, the result is a remarkably complete and balanced wine. The judicious use of new and seasoned oak (20% new) during its 10-month maturation further enhances this complexity, and it’s a wine ideally paired with sautéed mushrooms or orange duck.
