The vine’s growth cycle was marked by a mild autumn and winter with limited rainfall, though there was significant snowfall at the end of January. Despite this, there was a quite regular vegetative recovery, followed by rains in May and June which led to substantial vegetative growth with flourishing, beautiful vines. During July and August, the grapes enjoyed sunny days and average temperatures, resulting in a very gradual and slightly delayed ripening compared to recent vintages. Harvesting began in the second week of September with perfectly healthy grapes, blessed with fine acidity and a fresh aromatic profile, alongside a mature polyphenolic component due to significant temperature fluctuations in late August-September.
