The 2021 harvest unfolded under remarkably contrasting conditions – a cool, wet autumn replenished the soil’s aquifers, followed by a mild winter. Early spring brought a refreshing dryness, quickly compensated by abundant May rains. This water stress, a fortunate event, intensified the grapes’ colour and aroma. Finally, beneficial rainfall combined with hillside breezes ensured a perfectly healthy and elegant finish, resulting in wines that brilliantly capture the distinctive character of Nipozzano.
