Older wine bottles may show traces of dust and damaged labels, which is normal for their age. The National Cellar is committed to storing all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, but it always chooses to preserve the visual appearance that comes with aging. We select brands/regions that, on average, reveal distinct characteristics in tastings of aged wines. However, we want to remind you that wine is a living organism; even sealed in a bottle, its aromas evolve over time. Consequently, the National Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product’s quality, as it is an old wine. We recommend opening the bottle and letting the wine breathe first, which will help liberate its natural aromas after so many years of closure. If you choose to decant before serving, do so patiently to observe the sediment that an aged wine tends to produce. (Illustrative image)
