Originating from Bairrada, between the foothills of Serra do Buçaco and the sea, Giz emerges—a wine that uniquely expresses the characteristics of the limestone soils from which it comes. Derived from centuries‑old vines and produced from native varieties planted in poor, rocky soils, the intervention in the production process is minimal, both in the vineyard and in the cellar. Thus, after artisanal vinification, the wine rests for eight months in French oak barrels, yielding a mask‑free nectar, authentic, structured, elegant and complex, full of individuality and character.
