Description

The grapes that make up this wine were destemmed and fermented in an open vat with manual pressing. The wine underwent malolactic fermentation and was aged for a prolonged 20 months in a combination of new barrels (70%) and used barrels, both made from French oak. It was naturally stabilized during this extended barrel aging. A total of 1,400 bottles were produced. The aroma is complex and well‑defined, with notes of ripe cherry, blueberry, and subtle floral hints. Cedar, forest floor, tobacco box, and spice add further aromatic complexity. On the palate it presents as an elegant wine, full of minerality and freshness, reflecting the limestone soils from which it comes. It is simultaneously deep, structured, and complex, with a long, persistent finish.
