Bodegas Morca, owned by the Gil family, produces this wine in the Campo de Borja DO exclusively from the region’s dominant red grape, Garnacha. Sourced from small plots with low yields, the grapes are hand‑harvested and then fermented in small tanks. After 15 months in French oak barrels—where malolactic fermentation also takes place—the wine emerges elegant, with spiced notes of licorice and black fruit. It is balanced on the palate and finishes long, making it an excellent match for charcuterie, rice dishes or grilled meats.
