This Grandjo is a bracingly austere white wine from the Douro – a real test of patience, frankly. Crafted with a delightfully unadorned approach, utilizing pneumatic pressing and stainless steel tanks, and, rather surprisingly, eschewing oak altogether, it showcases the bright acidity of the Gewürztraminer alongside the floral notes, balanced by the white fruit of the Moscatel and the subtle finesse of the Viosinho. Seriously delicious with grilled seafood or a selection of creamy cheeses.
