Myndru was produced from a selection of the Roupeiro, Perrum and Alvarinho varieties grown on slate‑clay soils, and it aged for 15 months in cocciopesto amphorae. With a classic structure and firm texture, it offers excellent freshness and a long finish. At Herdade da Aldeia de Cima, a unique biodiversity is reflected in the 20 hectares of vineyard that follow the varying contour lines of slopes and valleys, in two distinct terroirs: one on the plateau at elevations of 289 to 300 metres, and another in the Serra do Mendro at elevations of 300 to 380 metres, within an unusual topography that allows the zoning of 24 micro‑terroirs. The wines are crafted in the vineyard, where the philosophy of seeking ancient knowledge, diversity, soil mineralogy and silky textures prevails. (illustrative image only)
