The blend of Alfrocheiro, with its characteristic heft, and Tinta Grossa, offering a juicy counterpoint, conjures sensations reminiscent of the very first wines, a sort of echo of bygone eras. Aged 12 months in Cocciopesto amphorae, it boasts an unexpectedly firm texture, driven by the vibrant Baga, and promises a remarkably long lifespan. Perfect alongside roasted pork or, perhaps, a rustic dish of wild mushrooms.
