With a unique biodiversity, Herdade da Aldeia de Cima spans 20 hectares of vineyard planted along the different contour lines of its slopes and valleys. The site is divided into two distinct terroirs: one on the plateau at elevations of 289 to 300 m, and another in the Serra do Mendro at 300 to 380 m, an unusual topography that allows for the zoning of 24 micro‑terroirs. The wines are shaped right in the vineyard, guided by a philosophy that seeks ancient knowledge, embraces diversity, highlights the soil’s mineral character, and delivers silky textures.
