The Serrano Mira family has been linked to the production of quality wines for countless generations. On their estates, clay vessels dated to 1667 have been preserved; these were once used as containers for wine making. The maternal great‑grandfather of the current owners was one of the three founders and the first president of Adega Cooperativa de Borba, CRL, one of Alentejo’s most promising cooperatives. The Mira brothers have followed the family wine activities from a very early age, and over time have absorbed essential experiences that helped shape the Herdade das Servas project. Herdade das Servas is the cradle of wines that reflect the history of a demarcated origin area, deeply affirming its characteristics and quality.
