Casa Relvas is a family venture that began in 1997 in São Miguel de Machede, Redondo, by Alexandre Relvas, aiming to continue a five‑generation story fueled by a deep passion for the Alentejo and its authentic nature. Over the years the family grew alongside the business, and soon it expanded to encompass about 750 hectares of montado forest, 225 hectares of olive grove and 350 hectares of vineyard all managed with integrated production. With the three estates—Herdade de São Miguel, Herdade da Pimenta, and Herdade de São Miguel de Machede—Casa Relvas can produce around 6 million bottles of wine each year, 70 percent of which are destined for the international market, reaching more than 30 countries worldwide and showcasing the best of the Alentejo.
