Casa Relvas is a family venture founded in 1997 in São Miguel de Machede, Redondo, by Alexandre Relvas. Its goal is to carry on a five‑generation legacy rooted in a deep passion for the Alentejo and its authentic nature. Over the years the family has grown alongside the business, and today it encompasses roughly 750 hectares of montado forest, 225 hectares of olive grove, and 350 hectares of vineyard—all managed through integrated production systems. With its three estates—Herdade de São Miguel, Herdade da Pimenta, and Herdade de São Miguel de Machede—Casa Relvas can produce about 6 million bottles of wine each year, 70 % of which are destined for the international market.
