Casa Relvas is a family‑run venture that began in 1997 in São Miguel de Machede, Redondo, by Alexandre Relvas. It continues a five‑generation legacy driven by a deep passion for Alentejo and its authentic nature. Over the years the family has grown alongside the business, which now covers roughly 750 hectares of montado forest, 225 hectares of olive groves, and 350 hectares of vineyards—all produced under integrated, 100 % sustainable practices. With its three estates—Herdade de São Miguel, Herdade da Pimenta, and Herdade de São Miguel de Machede—Casa Relvas can produce about 6 million bottles of wine each year. Around 70 % of that volume is destined for the international market, where the wines are sold in more than 30 countries, showcasing the very best of Alentejo.
