This little gem from Herdade de São Miguel is clearly designed for thoughtful, measured enjoyment. The Touriga Nacional, predictably, delivers a beautiful balance of ripe red fruit and tannins – think blackberry and plum, with a subtle warming spice. The estate’s sun-drenched slopes certainly seem to be contributing to this wine’s expressive character. A fantastic match with a succulent roasted turkey, wouldn’t you agree?
