Casa Relvas is a family‑run venture that began in 1997 in São Miguel de Machede, Redondo, by Alexandre Relvas. Its goal is to carry forward a five‑generation legacy rooted in a deep passion for the Alentejo and its genuine nature. Over the years the family has grown hand‑in‑hand with the business, and today the estate covers roughly 750 hectares of montado forest, 225 hectares of olive groves and 350 hectares of vineyards—all of which are 100 % managed under integrated production. With its three estates—Herdade de São Miguel, Herdade da Pimenta and Herdade de São Miguel de Machede—Casa Relvas can produce about 6 million bottles of wine each year, 70 % of which are destined for the international market.
