Casa Relvas is a family‑run venture that began in 1997 in São Miguel de Machede, Redondo, by Alexandre Relvas. It aims to carry on a five‑generation legacy driven by a deep passion for the Alentejo region and its authentic nature. Over the years, the family has grown alongside the business, and today it manages roughly 750 hectares of montado forest, 225 hectares of olive groves, and 350 hectares of vineyards—all under integrated production. With its three estates—Herdade de São Miguel, Herdade da Pimenta, and Herdade de São Miguel de Machede—Casa Relvas can produce about 6 million bottles of wine each year.
