The Petit Verdot really shines through, contributing a rich, mature fruit profile. There’s a beautiful interplay between the Touriga Nacional’s floral notes and the Verdelho and Antão Vaz, adding a wonderfully complex layer. The time spent in French oak has given it a luxuriously smooth texture, which would be fantastic with a hearty beef dish, perhaps a good stroganoff.
