It certainly delivers on its promise of intensity – the Aragonez really sings, showcasing a tenacious fruit and a vibrant character that’s unmistakably rooted in the rich soils of the Douro. The addition of Trincadeira adds a welcome layer of herbaceous complexity, beautifully balancing the wine’s exuberance. Honestly, it’s a fantastic match for a slow-roasted black pork, perhaps even with a touch of Tawny Port to really elevate the experience.
