Herdade do Rocim The “Herdade do Rocim” Branco is an authentic wine born from generations’ passion, each of whom has treated the land with deep respect and tenderness. Climate: Typically Mediterranean, located in the Vidigueira wine‑growing sub‑region, where the most temperate Alentejo conditions create an ideal microclimate for producing high‑quality wines. Soils: Low‑yielding, granitic and xistoso in origin, with excellent pedological potential for vine cultivation and the production of outstanding wines. Grapes: Antão Vaz, Arinto and Viosinho are cultivated in a single ascending row on a plot with a slight northward exposure and east‑west oriented vines. Vinification: Manual harvest in 12‑kg crates. After a period of cold skin maceration, fermentation occurs in a stainless‑steel tank at a controlled 15 °C for 18 days. Aging: After bottling, the wine matures in the bottle for one month.
