This Sel do Sobroso is a wonderfully surprising discovery – as if it’s been patiently waiting in the shadows. The young Touriga Nacional grapes, initially holding onto their structure and vibrant acidity, have finally revealed a remarkably complex aromatic profile, bringing through notes of red berries and a delicate herbaceousness that speaks of the Douro’s terroir. The silver medal from the Wine Awards Portugal confirms our suspicions: a wine that demands patience, but rewards the discerning palate with a truly unforgettable experience. Absolutely superb with a generous hunk of saddleback pork!
