On the palate it reveals a fine, balanced acidity that imparts a remarkable freshness to the wine. The Herdade Fonte Paredes is an estate covering about 400 hectares, spread across the Alentejo soils of Avis. The first vineyard planted on this estate, which boasts a long history, dates back to 1930, and since then wine production has been one of the focal points of the Cerejo family, who have managed it for four generations.
