Horácio Simões is fermented in a temperature‑controlled press with traditional foot stamping. The malolactic fermentation occurs in French oak barrels. It spends eight months in half‑filled French oak barrels and then a year in the bottle. 100 % barrel‑aged, using barrels of second and third use. Expected longevity: stored under good conditions it can improve for another 10 years. Bottled in December 2018.
