Fermented in a stone press with temperature control. Malolactic fermentation occurs in French oak barrels. It ages for one year in half‑filled French oak barrels and then for a year in the bottle. When stored under good conditions it has great potential to improve for several more years. It displays a deep garnet colour, intense, complex, fruity aromas—an excellent blend of the natural scents typical of the Castelão grape. The palate is fresh, deep, and full-bodied. The finish is long and aromatic. Contains sulfites.
