Description

The H.O. – Horta Osório Wines come exclusively from grapes grown on the own estates of Casa Agrícola Horta Osório, where, alongside “old vines”, new vines have been planted with the best traditional Douro varieties on unique terroirs. Grapes are harvested at perfect phenolic maturity, normally in the fourth week of September. The entire harvest is done manually, allowing for careful selection. Transport from the vineyard to the winery is in small 20‑kg containers. The entire winemaking process is monitored, keeping fermentation at controlled temperature to guarantee high quality wines.
